This change should fix some problems with the i386.o file. It is suggested by people aliased as "dima"@gmx.net and "prcoder"@mail.ru:

In the InterruptPoll(), removing VmWare-specific test code and changing HALT instruction into HLT. NASM somehow ignores HALT keyword.

    This tree was submitted by Peter K. He tested it on a 2.6 kernel. He is using Debian testing/unstable, kernel 2.6.8.1 from kernel.org. Please use this one as a baseline for further modifications.

    Changes:

    This release implements code to compile under 2.6 kernels. It apparently loads also, but I did not have chance to test it. Kernel recompile may be needed. For more information, see the linice google group.
